About Judith Hall

Judith Hall was born in Calgary and began to paint as a young child. During the years of studying for a PhD in Chemistry, working, and raising two sons, art and music provided a balance in her life. Her favorite subjects are the incredible beauty and diversity seen in nature.

Peel River

Beautiful sunset colours and an overwhelming feeling of peace are captured in this painting of the lower Peel River as is flows gently northward to join the Mackenzie in the North West Territories.

Emerald Lake

An easy walk around Emerald Lake begins with this view of Mount Burgess, the chalet and the blue-green water. It is a peaceful scene on a summer day. Since childhood it has been one of my favorite places. Acrylic on Canvas.

Ogilvie Mountains
